お肉を切る包丁というイメージがありますが、肉、魚、野菜など、何にでも使える万能包丁です。

種子島で作られている包丁です。
鹿児島の伝統工芸品に指定され、研ぎ直しが不要と言われる種子鋏とともに
鉄砲伝来以来、鍛治技術を守り続け、製作されている逸品です。

柄は紫檀を採用しており、本職の方向けの仕上げになっています。
刃渡270mmという長さは卸売市場や料理人にとって重宝する長さです。

芯材が青二鋼という鋼のため、刃の部分は錆びやすいですが、
切れ味抜群で長切れする包丁です。
研ぎ直しをすれば、長く使い続けていただける商品です。
