A. Yes. After you have completed your order, please contact us by email and request a receipt.
A. We can laser engrave up to 5 characters (kanji, kana, or English letters).
*Please note that engraved knives cannot be returned.

About delivery and shipping charges
We also ship overseas.
A. Within Japan, delivery will be made by Yamato Transport or Sagawa Express.
For overseas destinations, we will ship via Japan Post (EMS) or Yamato Transport.
A. Domestic shipping is free if the total amount of your order is 10,000 yen or more (excluding tax).
If the total amount is less than 10,000 yen (excluding tax), you will be responsible for the shipping costs.
If shipping outside of Japan, please check the Japan Post EMS rate table.
Shipping charges will be displayed on the cart page.
A. Items that are ready for shipping by 3:00 p.m. on a store business day will be shipped on the same day.
Items ready to ship after 3pm will be shipped the next business day.
A. Yes. Products ordered online can be picked up at the Asakusa store.
About knife sharpening and maintenance
A. We offer resharpening services for products purchased at our store and products purchased at other stores.
You can either bring it to Sakaitoku Knife Shop Asakusa or send it by mail.
If it is difficult for you to bring the item to our Asakusa store, please contact us via this page.
A. If it is a Japanese style pattern, you can request an exchange.
It may take some time for the pattern that matches your knife to arrive.
Unfortunately, we are unable to exchange the handles of Western knives.
About Membership Registration
If you are unable to register as a member, please check the following.
1) Check the error message displayed on the screen.
If you see the error message "This email address is already associated with an account. If you own this account, you can reset your password.", this means that you are already registered with the email address you entered. If you have forgotten your password, you can reset it.
2) If an error message other than those listed above is displayed/if you are unable to register for reasons other than those listed above <br/>Please contact us via the Contact Us form .
It may have been sorted into your spam or junk folder, so please check to see if you have received the email.
If you can log in to your My Page, your membership registration is complete, so please rest assured.
If the registered email address is incorrect, you will not be able to change it yourself. Please contact us to request a change of email address. How do I cancel my membership?
We apologize for the inconvenience, but please contact us via the inquiry form to let us know that you wish to cancel your membership. We will process your cancellation.
About the email newsletter
When placing an order, there is a field to enter your email address on the next screen after the cart. Check "Receive information on products, campaigns, etc." and proceed to complete your order to complete your newsletter registration. Alternatively, you can register your email address via the NEWSLETTER at the bottom of the page.
